Origin: Makaibari Estate, Darjeeling
Infusion Suggestions: 210oF for 3.5 minutes
This floral summer tea is the second harvest of the year, plucked just prior to the onset of the monsoons. It is a highly unique black tea, notable for its signature grape taste, complex body, and everlasting finish. Its liquor is slightly darker and more lush than the first flush that precedes it, mellowing as the plant moves into the warmer summer months. It is a smooth tea that opened our eyes to why Darjeeling has its high reputation. We are proud to source ours from the legendary Makaibari garden, India's first organic and biodynamic producer of tea.
