This Coffee is part of the "Land of Diversity" competition from Colombia. This competition is organized and run by the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation (FNC) and rewards the effort, dedication, and commitment to the quality of theColombian coffee farmers. This year 1,100 coffee producers signed up for the competition and subsequent auction.
Sully and her husband Gerson learned how to produce coffee on her parent's farm, where they used to live. They now own the 2-hectare farm "La Fortuna" in the Norte de Santander region. Coffee is their passion and main motivation to keep improving the farm and their quality of life.
The Coffee from this offering was picked ripe, de-pulped, and then fermented with its mucilage for 20 hours then put to dry in the sun.
