Keweenaw Coffee Works seeks a coffee shop manager that is fun and creates fun working environments. The ideal candidate for our retail and coffee bar is a go-getter with excellent managerial and leadership skills able to ensure the daily operation expectations of our coffee shop are met. You will wear many hats. From hiring, training, scheduling and supervising staff, maintaining and ordering inventory for front of house, greeting customers, collaborating with the team to develop drink and menu items, to rolling up your sleeves and preparing an exceptional cup of coffee, the front of house manager is a key player to our success. The primary responsibilities of this role are all people related - staff, customers and customer service.

WAGE, BENEFITS and SCHEDULE.

Our clientele desire to be served by customer service enthusiasts. Candidates for this position have proven experience developing a team, enjoy interacting with customers, and exude confidence and compassion as a leader. In exchange for your excellence, this position offers:

A starting wage $40,000 to $45,000 plus opportunities for sales bonuses. Salary based on experience and qualifications. Additional bonuses are possible with a productive track record. 90-day review period.
Flexible schedule but plan to work most (but not all) weekends . Shop hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, Saturday 8am-3pm and Sunday 9am-3pm during our summer months. Winter months we pair back on hours slightly but you should expect to work approximately 35-38 hours per week. Overtime is unusual, but possible.
PTO accrual starting after 6 months. 2 weeks vacation and 4 sick days
Medical, Dental and Vision available as self-pay to start with a company paid portion kicking in at 6 months.
Paid volunteer time.
