This Coffee is part of the "Land of Diversity" competition from Colombia. This competition is organized and run by the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation (FNC) and rewards the effort, Dedication, and Commitment to the Quality of the Colombian coffee farmers. This year 1,100 coffee producers signed up for the competition and subsequent auction.
Zorayda bought the 2-hectare farm La Alcaparrosa 15 years ago with her husband, Reinaldo, and how they are happy to see how they have been able to improve the farm and the quality they produce. The Coffee from this offering was picked ripe, de-pulped, and then fermented for 14 hours then put to dry in parabolic dryers.
